2023 OBT Award Nominations

MACTE Deans and Unit Leaders,

Continuing our tradition, MACTE 2023 Outstanding Beginning Teacher (OBT) Award winners will be honored as part of the spring conference. Winners will be notified by MACTE in late February, near the time of the March 2-3 conference.  

Each MACTE member institution may nominate up to 2 first or second year PK-12 teachers.   We encourage you to collaborate with your faculty and stakeholders as you identify your nominees; we also ask that you please not notify nominees of their consideration, in order to keep it a surprise. To nominate the OBT(s) for your institution, complete this nomination form by the December 16, 2022 deadline.
