MACTE members,
The MACTE Board of Directors is delighted to announce the call for proposals for our Spring 2023 Conference. We are very much looking forward to meeting in person at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Columbia, MO on March 2 and 3 (Th-F), 2023. Our conference theme is Change the Narrative: Elevate the Profession, and we are excited to continue our tradition of statewide educator preparation program (EPP) collaboration in a face-to-face format. Session submission guidance is in the linked proposal submission form below. Please note that for 2023, we are planning to have one in-person conference (March) and one virtual conference (October). We hope that this will encourage maximum participation from our EPPs in a way that is supportive of tight higher education budgets.
Conference session proposals:
Teacher education faculty, graduate students, deans, unit leaders, and PK-12 practitioners are invited to submit proposals for sessions that feature research or practices that benefit teacher education in the state of Missouri and beyond. Sessions may be panel discussions or traditional presentations, so consider reaching out to your colleagues from other institutions and your PK-12 partner school districts; all will be 50 minutes in length.
