William Jewell College invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Education. This is a full-time, tenure-track position beginning August 2022, with rank depending on qualifications. A terminal degree in Education or in a closely related field or evidence of near completion is required. The ideal candidate is qualified to teach a range of undergraduate and graduate courses, including foundational courses in differentiated instruction, curriculum and/or culturally responsive teaching as well as specialized courses related to diverse learners, students with special needs, and/or English Language Learners. The successful applicant will have an exemplary record of teaching in public schools at the secondary level (grades 6-12). Experience supervising preservice teacher candidates is highly preferred. The candidate will also provide evidence of an active research agenda and willingness to participate in departmental, college-wide, and professional service.
