Missouri Educator Preparation Program Mathematics Faculty

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and the Evaluation Systems group of Pearson are currently seeking Missouri mathematics educator preparation program faculty to participate in an upcoming Missouri Educator Gateway Assessments (MEGA) Mathematics Online Framework Review Conference. This one-day virtual meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 2, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

I am contacting you today to request your assistance in sharing this opportunity with your faculty.

Meeting Purpose: The purpose of the Framework Review Conference is for Missouri educators to review the mathematics test frameworks based on review criteria.

Currently we have several participants from PK-12 backgrounds who are able to offer a practitioner perspective. However, the committee lacks math education faculty participants. If you have faculty in your program whom you believe would be well qualified to contribute to the test development process for the MEGA Math MoCA exam, please consider nominating them and/or forwarding them the following links.
